Pluralsight Flow alternatives · updated October 2026

Pluralsight Flow is shutting down. What now?

Flow, formerly GitPrime and now owned by Appfire, is being retired in 2027. Here is what to export before you leave, how to pick a replacement for the way your team actually used Flow, and where Gitmore fits.

What happened to Flow

Flow started as GitPrime, which Pluralsight acquired in 2019 and renamed Pluralsight Flow. In 2025 Pluralsight sold Flow to Appfire. Public statements since then say Appfire will retire Flow in 2027.

Dates and transition terms can depend on your contract, so treat third-party timelines, including this page, as a prompt to confirm your end date with Appfire in writing.

Before you switch: what to export

1.

Historical metrics

Export the reports you rely on (commit and pull request activity, review and collaboration metrics) for the periods you care about.

2.

Metric definitions

Write down how each metric you report on was defined and filtered. Data without definitions is hard to compare later.

3.

Dashboard and report setup

Screenshot or document the views leadership uses, so the replacement can answer the same questions.

4.

Teams and identities

Keep your team structure and the mapping of people to Git identities; it is usually the slowest part to rebuild.

5.

Contract dates

Confirm your service end date and data-access window directly with Appfire, in writing.

Choose by how you used Flow

Teams bought Flow for different reasons. Replace the job it did for you, not the whole feature list.

If you mostly needed…Look at
Deep engineering analytics and benchmarks (DORA, investment allocation, per-team dashboards)Look at dedicated software engineering intelligence platforms such as Jellyfish, LinearB, Swarmia or Axify. Gitmore is not a drop-in replacement for this.
Knowing what shipped, without anyone writing status updatesGitmore turns GitHub, GitLab and Bitbucket activity into daily or weekly reports in Slack or email, plus plain-language client and investor updates.
Understanding how much AI coding agents now contributeGitmore's AI agent ledger shows what humans and agents like Claude Code, Copilot and Cursor shipped, with merge rates and time to merge.
Connecting plans to codeGitmore matches Notion, Linear, Jira, Asana, ClickUp and Trello tasks to pull requests and shows planned vs shipped.

Where Gitmore fits

  • ✓Flat pricing: free to start, paid plans from $8.99/month, not per developer.
  • ✓Connects in minutes and imports the last 30 days of pull requests and commits right away.
  • ✓Team-level reporting rather than per-person leaderboards.
  • ✓Works across GitHub, GitLab (including self-hosted) and Bitbucket Cloud.
  • ✓Never reads source code: only event metadata.

Where it doesn't

Gitmore is not a full engineering-intelligence suite. If your leadership depends on DORA benchmarking, investment allocation or deep per-team analytics, evaluate dedicated platforms alongside it. Many teams use Gitmore for the reporting and communication side, and a metrics platform for analysis.

Frequently asked questions

Is Pluralsight Flow really shutting down?+

Flow was sold by Pluralsight to Appfire in 2025, and public statements since say Appfire will retire it in 2027. The exact date and terms can depend on your contract, so confirm them with Appfire directly.

Can Gitmore import my Flow history?+

Not from Flow itself. Gitmore imports the last 30 days of pull requests and commits from GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket when you connect a repository, and builds history from then on. Export the Flow reports you need before access ends.

Does Gitmore replace every Flow metric?+

No. Gitmore focuses on what shipped, who (and which AI agents) shipped it, review and merge times, alerts on stuck work, and reports for people outside engineering. If you need a full engineering-intelligence suite, compare dedicated platforms too.

How much does Gitmore cost?+

There is a free plan with unlimited repositories. Paid plans are $8.99/month (Pro) and $30/month (Enterprise), priced per account rather than per developer.
